Credits are used to access nearby parking availability in the app. Credits have no cash value and cannot be purchased.

No. Parking Spot Swap does not guarantee parking availability. The app provides real-time, community-shared information to help drivers find parking more efficiently, but availability can change at any time. This should not discourage early adopters located in new areas. Early adopters can stock up on credits for themselves by offering their spots continuously and inviting others on the app which will help grow the spot sharing community.

Dropping a pin allows users to share open parking locations they find, even if they are not leaving a spot themselves. When another user successfully parks at a shared location, the contributor earns a credit for helping the community.

After navigating to a spot, you’ll be prompted to confirm whether you parked successfully or if the spot was already taken. Confirming the outcome helps keep the map accurate for everyone.

Yes. If you report a spot as taken and the app confirms you continued driving, your credit is refunded and you’ll receive an additional bonus credit for contributing accurate information.

Hold a Spot is an optional feature that allows you to request an "offering" user to briefly wait before vacating a parking spot. Holds are billed at a clear per-minute rate, and you’re only charged after you’ve successfully parked.

No. Parking Spot Swap is free to use and does not offer subscriptions or paid access. Payments are optional and only apply if you choose to request a spot to be held.

The Hold a Spot feature is billed at $2.00 per minute. Taxes and fees apply, including a 5% Platform Fee. For every $2.00 holding fee, the Holder User receives $1.90. Pricing is always shown in advance, and you are only charged for the time used after you park successfully.

Parking Spot Swap uses your location only while the app is in use to show nearby parking availability and verify parking contributions. Location data is not used for advertising or tracking across apps.

Yes. All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment provider, Stripe. Parking Spot Swap does not store your full payment details.

The app includes clear confirmations, visible timers, and an Emergency Cancel option to help prevent issues. Parking Spot Swap facilitates information sharing but does not guarantee outcomes.
